For the last few days, that excavator have been always right between the two buildings. They have been lowering again the walking path they are building. Our computers based on the known well organized (defined) architectures work exclusively sequential, with a correction of course. Now we have the so called multi-thread or multi-node computers which have multiple sequential threads, basically several computers linked to the same periphery (memory, GPU, external).

Anyways, we would need serial or limited parallel interfaces to hook to a human brain, but at which points?

For downloading the information from something you would need a sequential link and a sequential scanning of a well defined source though it could be a multi bit bus with (limited) parallel link which the same result. But to make that information work in the same way as the human brain we would need a similar architecture.

Human brain though it also uses binary signals, uses mostly parallel but not well defined branching processes with an unpredictable number of bits processed in parallel on a vast reconfigurable tangle like architecture to store in one step mostly reactions to input (that can later be retrieved as memories of which input may be the pineal gland or sensorial (and could end there fulfilling a cycle) and also creating electric loops that could act as antennas for transmitting signals to other brains that might be around and in tune.

Thus there is no way to download those reconfigurable neural pathways. Now or in the predictable future.

I can think of a way to do it though. You would need to hook a person to a system of sensors to measure (identify) neural circuits for every reaction/memory of their lives and then stimulate him/her to relieve in a certain amount of time all the memories of their lives and then store all the needed branches for one memory at the time in a matrix like reconfigurable memory that would mimic synapses at all nodes.

Or maybe build a scanner that could "read" all the synapses and their circuits with the memories stored in those circuits.

From what i know i think there is not one single reconfigurable neural pathways based machine.

But then at what good. Let's say we attach that duplicate of our soul to a robot. What "life" would be to awake inside a robot that could not possibly have the same sensory or motor array?

The more i think the more i realize how bad this joke is.
