8:33 Lost my phone with all the commotion of painting.

9:40 OK i woke up with a different stink and that is from the carpet, can't sleep no more, i am still stiff, maybe eaten from inside by parasites and started to do a wet carpet cleaning.

I have done it several times before and i know it works. If it was only for the very dirty brown water that comes out of the carpet the first time. Than it clears if i keep on doing it. Would have done it a month ago if it wasn't for the elections and then budget of Romania etc..

Thing is, as soon as the weather warms up it starts to sthink. Nutrients in carpet seeded not with normal human bacteria but from aerosols from the dumpsters and pets so i have to do it early in the summer.

It involves several times the noise and time of a normal vacuuming (thing is noisier because of weaker, higher rpm motor needed to create the suction for the liquid).

For the third day in a row maintenance came to work upstairs. Today after i started. So i can't do it too much cause the noise is twice as loud as a vacuum and it takes much longer so they'll start asking themselves what the heck i am doing because people are not so accustomed with those.

First i did my red Walmart or Kmart (can't remember 40 bucks old carpet made of (animal) wool. The one i keep in front of the couch and where i have the table with the computer. Dirtiest cause i many times eat or snack here to save time. It took me like 40 minutes already.

It completely dries withing 24 hours pretty much like a professional cleaning and uses warm water with detergent and not steam. Of course i rinse it a few times and that makes for the longer time.

11:55 I think that woman with apron at the checkstands at Home Depot with tattoos and a mask stole my phone. It was @9 PM July 1st local time (7 AM Romanian). I bought some paint in cardboard boxes and they would not scan. I was really stressed out cause it was past closing time. She came to help me and could not open the boxes and then i stepped in to help her and that's when i got really close. In the end i forgot my receipt and she called me to give it to me!

12:53 Now i remember. First time i went @4 PM and i remember i pulled my phone to look at the bay and isle for the roller. In paint department were two guys, an older and taller one, kinda grumpy and an young one who looked familiar who was nice.

I asked them for the strongest paint they had, that could fill cracks. The young man showed me this. I got two gallons, he opened one, the ingredients were separated, he had to put them in an agitation machine. Then we talked about the roller, i asked him to open the box, trying to figure if it would work with a paint that thick. Then i made my decision, he put the second gallon in the agitator and then i left.

I came home and first i wanted just to try to see if it works and then i decided to go with it. It went so well, around 8:30 i finished the two gallons and went for more, hoping to catch the store open which i did.

Then i got to talk again with the same guy. There was only one more gallon at the bay and i wanted two. Then he went to a different place and pulled two cardboard boxes with 4 gallons and i asked him not to open those cause it was easier to carry. I forgot about the agitator and stuff.

At the check stand none of the bar codes on the boxes would scan. Then the woman with tattoos and blue apron came and i assumed she was from the store. The rest i wrote above. When i got home i saw the paint was not separated like the first two gallons but ready to use.

And when i got home. The guy with the black BMW started the engine making a deafening noise. Could have had the phone in the car. Late at night he tried so start his engine with no success. In the morning Angela found the car open, probably i forgot to look it becaue of the noise.

2:53 This morning they started to work on building D, at the far end. However now they started at this end too. Two "Mexicans" are pulling really rotten pieces of siding from the building. Because they knew i was going to go at the car and bend to look for the phone under the seat w hen Angela came. The moment i bent to search under the seat they started to laugh.

Now i go to Home Depot to see if they really switched from orange to blue aprons and if that was their employee. Also to return two of the gallons of primer that are still in the box.

And the paint job. This primer sealer binder has fewer solids and more polymers and is considered 50% transparent (from forums) so it copies the color under. In fact is so strong it did not come out of my hands after cleaning the roller for an hour and taking a shower.

3:48 Here, a continuous jazz, siding work, the landscapers with their cosmic didgeridoos and now the ice cream van.

4:48 First i tried to return the box with the two gallons. There was a long line at the returns. An old man looking like Popeye the sailor with a cart with a plank rushed in front of me and then the whole line froze. For about 5 minute they were all like statues, including the customer people. At my right, a stand with 4th of July fireworks.

And then somebody left, the guy with the walking plank invited me in front of me. And there i stood, with the (walking) plank at my butt.

The taller than me German looking guy looked at my box and asked me for the receipt. Then he scanned the receipt not opening the box. Then i opened the box myself to show him.

Then i went at the self stands to tell my story. A German looking woman in an orange apron i saw there last night was there but she said she cannot remember me. And of course she could not remember seeing the woman with tattoos and blue apron who helped me.

A woman was checking (with) a baby at one of those. Two more Korean looking guys with a cart figuring a car with two kids who entered when i was in line at returns.

The self checkstands supervisor called a manager, and she took a picture of my receipt with the hour and minute which was not closing time (in summer is 10) and she said she would email the guy who can look at the video at that time and i wrote my email address on an envelope she gave me.

Then she have me her card and when i pulled my wallet i heard a noise like my camera dropped on the floor and i looked on the floor and could not see it though i remember i took it when i left. But the camera was at home. Can't find the receipt for my return now.

There are two more things i need to write about. Every time i go to WinCo and/or Walmart i got to see this sign. And every time i go to Home Depot (have not been in a long time, i order all my stuff on Amazon now, that's why i don't know things like apron color, closing time) i get to pass this firm.

And yes i am a bit dizzy from breathing VOCs from painting and from cleaning the carpet.

6:20 There are a number of feral cats roaming around the building, meowing, etc.. Though from what i've seen they accept cat food given by neighbors, they are not accustomed to humans and they are never feeding in the garbage dumpster. This could only happen if they come from the cat island in Japan where they are used to be fed by the locals from donations.

6:40 I went in the kitchen area and passed by the window and some guy started to whistle in the lot. Not the first time.

5:28 At Home Depot this woman came to help the tall guy in returns while i was at the end of the plank. When i open the box she kept saying with a low, scared voice... "I saw these. They are two" (gallons in the box). The "manager" who gave me the card looked like...

6:15 Just ordered on Amazon some business cards cause i'm tired of writing down and/or spelling my name and email address. I can't believe it takes more than a week to get those...

8:30 I started the oven to make a pizza to heat up the place to help drying the carpet and there was something on the bottom of the oven and now is already in the (new) paint and (newly cleaned) carpet...

9:05 And the patriots started to manifest in the sience of the evening... (a true Freudian slip).
