6:54 AM After i adjusted the size of text in Windows using the Accessibility setting i realized that size has not been changed in context (right click) menus. Because of the 4K resolution they are so tiny i can't read them. I searched and i searched and i found a hack telling me how to get to the old style Windows context menus. Like i knew, cause i haven't been using it for a long time.
It involves modifying a file in Windows called registry, a long and scary file where they decided to keep many of the settings in Windows and other apps. They warn you at the beginning to make a backup cause messing with registry file can be "fatal" in which case, how are you going to restore it?
Anyways, let's say i can bring the old style context menus, then what. Is the size of the letters in those menu obey the settings i just made "throughout Windows"? Then what if i don't like it or i mess it up?
5:08 Somebody gave Angela at work a few sports drink concentrate sticks. They tasted good to me, i made about 2 liters of drink from one and they were still too sweet and too sour due to Vitamin C (a rare presence in soft drinks, due to its taste that is less pleasant than citric acid they use mostly (which has a very very slight different chemical formula).
I liked it and searched it on Amazon and ordered it and it was 4-5 days away. It finally came on 9 and i had one more item in the locker for three days, about to be returned, and i went in the evening at the locker, at 11 they were bunch of little people in the pool yelling like crazy, but at the locker there was one single package only. I guess i did not see it was delivered at the parcel box.
So i came and found a key for the box in my mail box, grabbed the pack, the rest of the mail and i noticed there was again a piece of (junk) mail hanging from the upper box into mine (through a crack next to the lid).
This is the second day i did not get any mail which is very rare and also dejavu.
But the sports drink. The pouches look exactly the same as the ones Angela brought however are much diluted, like three times or four times more diluted than the original.
Not the first time Amazon does this to me. I once payed 15 bucks for a non-returnable bottle with charcoal caps that were gray in color (process incomplete), they did not heat enough the coconut shell dust in the vacuum oven or something. A brand i bought before and was ok.
The mud was made mostly of whet litter dust. I see broken bags thrown in front of the dumpster (near edge) all the time. (and some times in front of it). Was not done yet when a man about as tall as me, obviously Japanese, kinda white with a moustache came to through his bag and then stare at me. Then a woman that i believe also came yesterday when i was recovering a bag to knot.
This was the best i could. Then i threw some backing soda on top but in a hurry cause the woman in black SUV was passing, another black car was parking next to it. Yeah, every time i go to knot a bag, scores of cars and people are passing.
7:05 Went back and dislodged most of that mud using the stick like a shovel, pushing from one side, poured one more pound of baking soda on top. Afraid it will get glued back to the bottom. I think it started when the handywoman threw about two months ago some heavy pieces of furniture or floor (one piece covered the whole bottom) from an apartment she was repairing, next to the dumpster and pressed some bags under. But still it was too much for a couple of months.
Got the stick, back (it's from my plant stand), tried to wash it but it now smells like pure sewer. Somebody started a bbq so it will cover the smell. Yeah, i think it was him.
7:27 Do you want to know my opinion? My opinion is that dumpster should be taken away from here and sanitized somewhere and then brought back.
7:33 A TVFR engine just passed by.
8:17 More garbage horror stories from the past. Back then i was calling the dumpster a bin and one day i was lucky enough and the driver of the garbage truck kept the dumpster in the air while i removed the bags from under.
While searching for the posts linked above i found something else. A painting done by the Hungarian painter Lóránt Méhes back in 1985.
