4:30 PM Went to the liquor store and got my brandy. Found Angela. There's a party with people speaking Chinese (i guess) not far from our door. Some of them have laptops.
8:37 I know i had this entry in the morning before i made a reference to it, after i moved it from this blog. However after those guys have been sitting there between the elevators and my room it disappeared.
8:55 CEC-ICMC 2025. Yeah i remember now when i went to the liquor store a (obvious, well dressed, with a backpack) Japanese guy entered the elevator after me at 4 and stopped at the second floor. I think it was then when they copied my card key (so there won't be any connection with the hotel who gave us a room at the same floor).
What else?
Also my main tool for cropping pics, the Photos app on my W11 also got a weird update that makes it much more difficult to use.
9:05 Also did my insulin shot a bit late but now i feel really weird. (Heat in the thyroid area?).
10:53 Lately the discomfort after the insulin shot lasts two hours. First, i feel heat in my whole body and a bit high like after a shot of liquor. In about 20 minutes, shortness of breath, followed by sleepiness and finally after 2 hours i start to feel good, a bit less tired than before the shot.
I went in the casino, Angela gave me 100, i nearly lost it all at poker while gasping for air (i was in that phase, which i made worse by smoking a cigarette). Then after i had only a few dollars left, i made 50+back. I went to find Angela and found my favorite game here, the Phoenix something, i call it Peacock's tail (yeah the synched little hits in the walls that made me sick several times in both hotels).
When i catch one of these, it turns into... i forgot, 9 wilds, covering a good part of the screen.
Ok so after i tried several other machines, i found a place at that one and played it. It gave me a few hands in the beginning, if it would have given me a bit more, i would have left. But i noticed the smell of mineral insulation dust but could not leave because the machine was "giving" (actually i was stationary at @30 bucks) and i stayed there for about 30 minutes until i lost all money and left.
But man. About 5 minutes later i felt it. The pain and extra shortness of breath from the dust. Was walking around searching for Angela and the muzak was playing "I'm still standing" by EJ while i was barely standing. Irony?
Finally found Angela, got better and i decided to write what i was thinking about all evening.
The hotel is well solid build with structural steel beams and stuff. Floors seem made of concrete with wall to wall carpets on top. However the walls are empty and full of basaltic (lava) mineral insulation. Why the walls between rooms have insulation, it beats me. Maybe because they want to keep some rooms warm and some unoccupied unheated (or cooled).
In the bathroom there is a vent without fan that sucks air. Also walls are cracked in corners.
No fan to start, it works continuously. I looked under the cover and i saw dust buns. Household dust mixed with that basaltic dust that puts out sulfur no matter what. But when someone lets the heavy door be shut by the springs, it shakes the whole hallway. In that moment, dust from those buns falls and the airflow is too weak to catch it and it comes into the room. That dust is heavier than air however, it floats long enough for you to get some.
Of course not all rooms are the same. Some have more, some less, depending on each one's sins.
Yeah i know this video was first uploaded 13 years ago but i cannot embed that version in my blog.
Never had a chance to tell the story of emptying the catch can at 7 feathers. I said i needed to do that before i leave for the long trip but i forgot. So when we left, i grabbed a small zip lock bag and wrapped it around it and a bit of oil came out of it (i was expecting much more). When i looked behind there was this cute Latina that came to get it. Because oil in the catch can comes from the combustion chamber and is mixed with gas (the oil that i put on last time did not have any smell - Castrol Synthetic Blend).
From there i went to the gas station but guess what. They had a spill and a guy from there was sweeping the area about 20 by 20 feet with a large broom. As a result my eyes hurt all the way here (375 miles) impairing my driving.
But when i got here again curiosity got the better of me. Popped the hood to look at the oil (not the catch can). I do this after every long trip. At once a little old lady came at the SUV on the other row facing ours and got it. I assume getting this kinda room could have something to do with it but i doubt would have happen otherwise.
12:00 About when i started to complain about dust in bathroom i heard a noise at first i thought it was rain. There is some sort of huge transformer outside the door, the size of a van, with fans and those fans started and the vibration is releasing dust from curtains.
