1:36 PM This morning when i went to check for poops i saw this SUV in the spot for F6 (above) though no one is here. I was intrigued by the plate so i took a picture just in case.

Then i went to do a job i wish i didn't have to. Lube the guides for the brake pads. Lately (when the weather cooled) i started to experience fluctuations in mileage, up to 10% in range. So i thought ok, could be not only the anti-drag springs but the fact that the grease on the guides is long time gone and when the weather cooled whatever traces were in there froze and the pads started to stick.

Usually mechanics do that when the brakes squeal for no other reason, i believe it is the only grease point that remains for modern cars (yes the source of inspiration for the movie Grease (or monkey grease whatever)). But it needs a special, heat resistant kinda grease and i had a few drops and squeezed them into a small syringe for lack of a better tool.

Yes it is a very... ungraceful job, i had to remove the rear wheels and in front move the wheels left right and look with a mirror and a flash light. It took me like two hours just for that and it is only on a suspicion (and yes i heard a squeal one morning when again weather was cold).

I will tell tomorrow. BTW the plates have like 5 mm left in front and 3 in rear, all uniform. After 110 k since i have the car. Ceramic ceramic, but most miles have been done on freeways.

And when i was almost done, another freak rain came like someone knew i started to have pain at the leg again. I looked at the radar, the were only two patches in the whole NW of Oregon, one in Tualatin and one in Tigard.

Pain started last night at Spirit Mountain when i played poker for more than one hour using 20 bucks next to a woman with a big bag and i think she had a working phone in there (maybe doing updates, who knows).

And while i was watching the rain in disbelief i saw a brown princess, short, very young, climbing in the back of that SUV and a brown driver starting and then they left.
