11:33 I took a shower and the pressure at the shower head was extreme, within seconds someone opened a big bathroom tub faucet in the building and the pressure was released to almost normal.

2:35 Went to Walmart and WinCo. A whole bunch of pissed thetans everywhere. I took a shower right before that and used plain soap (in the end). My hands were very dry. There was this Japanese checker who acted very nervous. As a result of these two things, others (girls with too short shorts showing butt) i dropped the jug with oil on the floor, making a big noise.

Good thing it did not break and spilled on the floor (it touched something before that and slowed down the fall).

I changed the oil again, early. Last couple of times at 1000 miles. Today at 2000 or when it turned black and started to drop fast. (My) Latest theory. I anticipate next time will be 3000. The manufacturers are wrong on this one. When oil accumulates soot of course from unburnt fuel in cylinders, it starts to deposit everywhere inside the engine.

Though new engines wear got better with tighter tolerances and better materials, the tight tolerance at the ring/piston joint allows build up of carbon when the oil blackens and the rings which are not new anymore do mot expand in the groove but get stuck in a position, allowing much blow by.

All of a sudden, oil was down one quart, so instead of adding oil, i decided to replace it altogether. I use cheap mineral all mileage Quaker State (19 bucks for 5 quarts at Walmart) which is better than synthetic because it does not contain much paraffin (wax) but now harder to find. With a pump through dipstick hole it comes out in about 5-10 minutes, without changing the filter, it takes about 15-30 minutes in total.

Guys dropping things, making very big noises made me spill some oil on the cover. Took me extra 10 minutes to clean, in which they did more shows.

2:45 Upstairs, the same old stuff. Not quite. Today after last vacuum a few days ago and much clearing of the air, i detected cigarette smoke which awoke me several times, at one hour interval.

3:00 From the jukebox. In sequence at 85 tops came No More Lonely Nights from Wingspan UK edition and i was intrigued by the coincidence with the cover of the album.

10:50 Kylie Minogue
