2:25 AM I was laying in bed with my leg elevated because my infection that came (apparently after using a bad batch of mupirocin), watching a movie when i felt the smell of smoke. Went outside to deal with the ridges. Within ten minutes after plugging the last "breathing ridge" under the bush at the corner of the building, the micronic "true" HEPA filter took care of the smoke inside.

One has to imagine the amount of smoke coming out of those galleries if the filter cannot deal with it in real time.

It will be like that for up to a month and then they will give up. Rats and moles would declare this area a loss and will retreat. Or this is what happened 2 or 3 years ago.

But who knows. Maybe they bred in the meantime rats and moles that are not giving up.

Like the ants in the kitchen. They are about 2 mm long. In the past, after i put on the counters and other places borax mixed with sugar or honey, they would disappear and not come back for a month or so.

Now they are happily foraging that borax and are still around, attacking every crumble or drop that may contain something interesting to them.

Borax is not toxic to humans, it was used in the past as detergent and currently as preservative for caviar.
