1:40 PM Every time i do the wound with the new ointment (Silver Sulfadiazine) i get the chills. The doctor's office called Walmart two days ago and that would be 48 hours and Angela went to pick it today and they said they had to order it from their warehouse and it will be Tuesday. That makes 4 days delay.
I signed into Walgreens account and tried to transfer the prescription online and the estimated pick-up time is tomorrow. That is if they can successfully transfer it. I have been on the phone waiting to speak to a pharmacist while being second in line for 15 minutes.
Trouble is get the chills every time after i do the wound for longer and longer and the jar they gave us at Emanuel Legacy does not have a manufacturer name, expiration date or any date on it. It was filled from a bigger jar and it has a label that says SILVADENE.
I think i will try to call the clinic to ask them to send a new prescription at Walgreens.
1:55 Ok they don't answer calls on Sundays. I left a message.

3:10 PM. Angela was on the phone with Walmart for 30 minutes, mostly waiting. They just told her "We're transferring it. We're working on it right now" and they hung up.
I told her to try and transfer it to a different Walmart or maybe we should just call a different Walmart to see if they have it in stock cause i believe the prescription can be picked at any Walmart but the woman on the phone just hung up.
3:20 She just called again and they said they transferred the prescription to Walgreens. But they are next to impossible to catch on the phone.
3:40 Angela left for Walgreens. Again.
6:33 Where she waited for more than half hour until i called Walmart in Hillsboro. They said they had it but did not ask about size. She said (heavy Asian accent) she would tranferr the prescription over there and then she would call me back. From what i know, there is no need to transfer a prescription from one Walmart store to another.
One thing i know by now. When a guy from Walmart Pharmacy says they will call you back, they never will. So i called again. This time an American women said something like the other was on the phone. Then she came and talked to me and she said the prescription at Walmart in Tigard has been moved to Walgreens where Angela was. I called Angela, they could not confirm. So Angela came home.
I called Walmart in Tigard now. The guy said he faxed the prescription to Walgreens in Lake Oswego. This time i got mad, got my shoes on, kept fighting with Angela (the cognitive smoke flooding the building and then Walgreens in Lake Oswego).
There i waited in the parking lot for more than half hour, got out of the car, went to find Angela inside. She was just coming out, saying they don't have it in the right size, we have to go to Walgreens on Capitol, 4.8 miles away. When i looked, i saw my bandage was undone and the wound exposed directly to rain.
I vaguely knew where it was, but Angela put it on google maps (our GPS sometimes can not find the addresses whatever) and started and while driving i remembered the way (kind of) and then google maps went to sleep. Finally found it, waited again about 20-30 minutes while there was a mini parade (like at the other Walgreens) in the parking lot and then she came out of the store with a bag in her hands. We got it.
A 6 hours saga involving 4 pharmacies, more than ten phone calls (including with Angela), 4 trips and much rage, all under the heavy influence of the unidentified smoke. All reminding of the mazes of Kafka.
Then i washed my hands, the skin around the wound with alcohol, the wound with saline, put some stuff from the sealed 400 gr jar, did not get more hot flashes (though i already some from the road, maybe from cellular or wi-fi signal and/or cold).
6:53 I was relaxing after writing the above paragraphs when a heavy person started an exaggerated walk upstairs. Stump stump stump stump back and forth in the bedroom or right on top of me.
I forgot to take the picture when i did the bandages but i think i had a setback. Like every time i went for a dr. visit or exam and today fighting half day for my prescription ointment.
Here they go again upstairs.
11:40 It has been a couple of hours since someone is walking relentlessly upstairs in the bedroom with much creaking of the floor.
