2:02 Friday night after i drove 130 miles a slept a few hours then i drove 90 miles more and 230 miles back home (with a 20 miles detour). It was close to 500 miles (850 km) within 30 hours, some on a very winding road (Little Creek to Port Angeles). Last 100 miles my brain was functioning only to make corrections following the yellow lines on the freeway.
Which at least once i did not see being blinded by incoming traffic, in a curve and almost missed it. I had some coffee to stay awake and i paid today with palpitations. Drove behind an old small pickup with a few uncovered bales of hay and that congested my nose and when i fell asleep in the car at Elwha, i woke with apnea and pounding heart.
But at least i saw Mt.Olympus (with a corner of my mind) and a piece of Canada.
After i got home i slept 7 hours, and awoke in smoke coming from a number of tiny holes in the ground near the apartment (a new one). Then the cable fiber optics guy came and knocked at the door. Probably wouldn't have opened the door but i thought it could have been the lost package from FedEx.
Every 2 years i have to change the provider. Each gives you a 2 years promotion when you switch and the difference is 400 dollars a year. While Comcast (Xfinity) are modest and do not require a tech's presence, Frontier (Verizon) which have fiber optics installed in the apartment, every time wants to send you one. So every 4 years i get a visit with one of those. 4 years ago it was Chuck Norris.
I knew it was going to be somebody this year too, thing is i forgot it was today, i was embarrassed, tired, burnt by driving, sleepy an under the influence of smoke coming from outside and i figured only when i opened the Romanian News and saw the otherwise familiar face. But to me is only one of the hundreds of thousands i see all the time during my searches.
Now of course i am again embarrassed and ashamed. Awkward.
Of course it wouldn't have all happened if they didn't give us a free night at the hotel near Little Creek casino. And with the myriad of problems on my mind, i forgot about the appointment.
1:35 Been up till 5 AM with the earthquake post. Just awoke with lower abdominal pain. I know. When this happens i have to go outside to check.
The wind was blowing from west. I went to the west bin, while walking there i felt the pestilential smell coming from the bin. I disposed of up to ten dog bags, some blue, some colored, some open. Two or three sacks with garbage on top of the bin. There is one more big black sack partly caught under the bin.
While there a guy (or woman) started his car next to the bin. A number of people came to visually interact with me including the stairwell destroyer.
Three blue bags next to the SW bin.
I think it's all done on purpose. "Forever prank the universal dictator". For this to happen it will be needed for all the other apartments to by unoccupied witch i also believe it's true. I once bought an IR camera and took pictures of the buildings also in April and more than half of the apartments where "cold". So was the apartment upstairs though one guy kept working the floor, day and night.
BTW i believe it is still unheated, the reason i pay so much for electricity bills. The reason could be there is less IR interference for their locating devices (invasion of privacy).
5:05 Just remembered something. Internet ≠ Ethernet.
5:38 Got some parts and a tool at the Amazon locker, worked on the catch can. I moved my "bench" near the glass door, when i was about done, a fat young woman (i haven't seen her before here) came with a dog, started playing with it though the dog obviously wasn't feeling like it, turning around (forcing the dog to orbit her) and every time i was looking she was bending the other way, showing her healthy tall standing butt.
One hour later i started to have shortness of breath like i always do.
